Dispatch Celebrates First Anniversary with Extensive New Content and Experiences

Dispatch, AdHoc Studio's debut title, is celebrating its first anniversary with a significant influx of new content and fan experiences. Launched on October 22, 2025, to critical acclaim, the narrative-driven game is expanding its offerings to include commentary and storyboard modes, a mobile port, and a special live concert.

Expanded In-Game Features

The Deluxe Edition of Dispatch now includes a Commentary Mode and a Storyboard Mode. Commentary Mode provides players with two distinct audio tracks featuring insights from the game's actors and developers, offering a deeper look into the creation process and increasing replayability. Storyboard Mode allows players to view the initial sketches and planning stages of the game's scenes, which can be paired with the commentary track for an enhanced experience. The Deluxe Edition also comes with a digital art book and four digital comics. Existing Deluxe Edition owners will receive these new modes for free, while owners of the standard version can purchase an upgrade for $10.99 USD.

Mobile Release and Cross-Platform Play

Dispatch is also expanding its reach with a mobile version set to launch on Android and iOS on December 9, 2026. The game has been rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play, with the first four episodes available for free on mobile platforms. The full release will be priced at $19.99 USD, with pre-orders expected soon on the Google Play and Apple stores. Additionally, the game will feature support for Google Play Games on PC.

New Merchandise and Collectibles

In response to fan demand, AdHoc Studio is releasing a range of new merchandise. This includes a three-record vinyl soundtrack featuring artwork by Dispatch's art director, Derek Stratton, with 100 limited editions signed by the artist. T-shirts, hoodies, and four physical comic volumes, each with a unique cover that forms an epic battle scene when placed together, are also available. A hardcover "Dispatch: Design Works" book offering behind-the-scenes content, concept art, and developer interviews is also on sale. The first 1,000 orders from the official online store will receive a limited edition, numbered collector's card.

Live Concert and Developer Insights

A special one-night-only live concert, "Hoes Depressed," will bring the music of Dispatch to life. Scheduled for Thursday, December 3, the event at AVALON Hollywood will feature performances by THOT SQUAD (the voice of Prism), Bershy, Primer, Caroline Kingsbury, and Fartbarf. Tickets are extremely limited, with AdHoc Studio email subscribers receiving priority access. The event is in-person only and will not be streamed.

Nick Herman, Co-Creative Director and COO of AdHoc Studio, expressed the studio's desire to provide fans with unique ways to engage with the world of Dispatch. "For the fans who made Dispatch a part of their lives, we wanted to give them more ways to experience the world they love, whether that’s playing alongside the cast and crew, experiencing the entire game in its original storyboards, or hanging out together IRL at the wildest version of a Dispatch concert our finance team would sign off on," Herman stated.

Dispatch received a 9 out of 10 from IGN, which praised its sharp-witted dialogue, strong writing, and memorable cast.
