Ad Hoc Studios is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its choice-driven superhero management sim, Dispatch, with a host of new content and announcements. Starting today, owners of the game's deluxe edition can access two new free modes: commentary and storyboard. These modes allow players to experience the game with behind-the-scenes insights from the cast and crew or view the game's storyboarding materials.
The commentary and storyboard modes can be used independently or simultaneously, offering a deep dive into the game's development. For players who only own the standard edition, an upgrade to the deluxe version is available for $11.
Additionally, Ad Hoc Studios announced that a mobile version of Dispatch will be released on Android and iOS on December 9th. The first four episodes of the narrative choice and management-sim game will be free to play, with the full version available for purchase at $20. This format is considered a natural fit for mobile devices.
To further commemorate the anniversary, Ad Hoc Studios is releasing a variety of merchandise for fans, including an art book, clothing, posters, and a physical edition of the digital comic. The celebrations will also include a live concert featuring artists from the game's soundtrack, including the band Fartbarf.
