In a scene from "Avengers: Endgame Encore," Bruce Banner is shown recording a video message from a bunker. His isolation is interrupted by the sudden appearance of Doctor Doom, who seemingly kidnaps him. This event is presented as more than just an isolated incident focused solely on the Hulk.
Joe Russo, in an interview with Empire, suggested that Banner is merely a component of a larger scheme. "His interest may extend beyond just Banner," Russo stated, hinting at wider implications. "So, that's what we'll say about that."
Further clues suggest other potential targets. A post-credits scene in "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" depicted Doom in the Baxter Building living room speaking with a young Franklin Richards. While Sue Storm interrupts, it remains unclear if Doom successfully abducts Franklin or leaves without him.
