Wizards of the Coast has officially revealed a major crossover between Dungeons & Dragons and World of Warcraft. The upcoming expansion book, titled "D&D: World of Warcraft," is set to bring the iconic Blizzard franchise back to the tabletop for the first time in two decades.

Unveiled at Gen Con 2026, this expansion is the first under D&D's new Universes Beyond banner, which aims to integrate third-party franchises into the classic tabletop role-playing experience. The "D&D: World of Warcraft" book is a collaborative effort with Blizzard, drawing elements from across the extensive World of Warcraft lore. It is designed to allow players to explore various eras of Azeroth with a wide array of character options, dungeons, and quests.

The expansion promises a comprehensive inclusion of World of Warcraft content, featuring details for every playable species and class, including the Pandaren. It will also introduce 26 magic items, seven iconic dungeons from the game, stat blocks for 30 dungeon bosses, over 60 new spells, more than 50 new monsters, and 23 factions with associated renown rewards. Additionally, players can expect to find professions, mounts, and companion creatures within the book.

Accompanying the main expansion is the Icecrown Citadel Map Pack, which is designed to extend character progression from level 16 up to level 20. Pre-orders for "D&D: World of Warcraft" are now available, with early access scheduled for November 3. The full release is set for November 17, coinciding with the start of D&D's upcoming Season of Champions.
