Dungeons & Dragons is reportedly considering a crossover with Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft franchise. The possibility was hinted at by Dan Ayoub, head of Dungeons & Dragons, during a conversation with GameSpot's Jessica Cogswell at Gen Con 2026. Ayoub stated his enthusiasm for a StarCraft collaboration, calling it "badass" and recalling its significant impact on his university years.
This discussion occurred alongside Holly Longdale, VP of World of Warcraft. Longdale responded to Ayoub's expressed interest with a suggestive "Hmmm. I think we should talk. I know a guy," to which Ayoub replied, "I think I know where to find you." While Blizzard has not provided further details or confirmed if a StarCraft crossover is officially in development, the exchange suggests a potential exploration of the idea.
Prior to any potential StarCraft collaboration, Dungeons & Dragons is set to integrate with another Blizzard property. The D&D: World of Warcraft expansion is scheduled for release on November 17. This upcoming content will introduce 30 dungeon bosses, seven dungeons, and 60 new spells.
