Marvel Comics is bringing Eddie Brock back to his iconic role as Venom with a new ongoing series set to launch in October 2026. The announcement was made at Marvel's "Next Big Thing" panel during Comic-Con 2026, confirming that the character will once again bond with the Venom symbiote.

The new series, titled Venom #1, will be helmed by writer Charles Soule and artist Tommaso Bianchi. The official summary states that after years apart, Eddie and Venom are reunited, with Eddie determined to be the ultimate host and hero. The series aims to bring the character full circle, following a period where the symbiote had been bonded to Eddie's son, Dylan, and later to Mary Jane Watson.

Mary Jane Watson will star in her own new five-issue series, Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane, which will debut in November 2026. This series sees MJ returning to her Hollywood career as a producer and facing off against the Chameleon. It is written by Ashley Allen with art by Phil Noto.

Additionally, Marvel revealed a new lineup of crossover specials spinning out of Phillip Kennedy Johnson's Infernal Hulk series. These include Infernal Hulk vs. Wolverine #1, Infernal Hulk vs. Fantastic Four #1, Infernal Hulk vs. Spider-Man #1, and Infernal Hulk vs. Avengers #1. These specials are also written by Johnson and will contribute to the foundation for the upcoming Hulk War event.
