Developer Cygnus Cross has announced a star-studded voice cast for its upcoming indie title, Emberville, a farming and life simulation game drawing inspiration from Stardew Valley. The game is set to launch in Early Access on Steam on October 27, 2026. The cast announcement, made via a video on X, includes a wide array of voice actors from prominent gaming and television roles.

Notable additions to the Emberville voice cast include Ben Starr (Final Fantasy 16), Doug Cockle (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), Jennifer English (Baldur's Gate 3), Amelia Tyler (Baldur's Gate 3), Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution), and Matthew Mercer (Critical Role). The full list also features Abubakar Salim (Assassin's Creed Origins), Alex Jordan (Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty), Anjali Bhimani (Avowed), Briana White (Final Fantasy 7 Remake), David Menkin (Final Fantasy 16), Jane Perry (Hitman), Kirsty Rider (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33), Lucy Elliott (Shortland Street), and Nick Apostolides (Resident Evil Requiem). Several content creators and musicians, including Dillon Francis and Lily "LilyPichu" Ki, are also lending their voices to the project.

Emberville places players in the "Vitromotus," a vast underground magical dungeon where death is not permanent. Players will explore its depths, fight creatures, rescue survivors, and rebuild the town of Emberville while uncovering the mystery of their imprisonment. The game promises action-focused combat that emphasizes positioning, timing, and knowledge, with unique weapon combos and a variety of combat classes. Unlike Stardew Valley, Emberville will feature more involved combat mechanics.

Cygnus Cross co-founder Ben "CohhCarnage" Cassell stated that the team has been focused on creating an immersive experience, with the extensive voice cast being a key component of that effort. The Early Access version is expected to offer a substantial amount of content, including gameplay from early to mid-game, base building, gathering, crafting, farming, cooking, melee, magic, and ranged combat, along with equipment and skill systems. The developers plan to release meaningful content updates throughout the Early Access period.
