The Epic Games Store is continuing its weekly tradition of offering free PC games, with the current lineup featuring Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition and the metroidvania title Voidwrought. This promotion, which began on June 25 and runs until July 2, provides players with a chance to claim these titles without cost.
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition, originally released in 2020, allows players to design and manage their own theme parks. This version includes the game's two major expansions. Voidwrought offers a more action-oriented experience, catering to fans of metroidvania games with its emphasis on exploration and combat.
For those looking ahead, next week's free offerings will include River City Girls 2 and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. River City Girls 2 continues the beat-'em-up series with new characters and expanded gameplay. I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is an enhanced version of the 1996 adventure game based on Harlan Ellison's short story, where players must outwit a malevolent AI named AM.
Epic Games typically provides at least one free game every Thursday at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, requiring users to have a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication to claim their titles. The store has a long history of distributing free games, having given away hundreds of titles since its inception. This ongoing program extends to Android devices as well, with weekly free games available.
The Epic Games Store has a comprehensive list of past free game offerings, including titles such as Citizen Sleeper, Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks, Songs of Conquest, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Batman: The Telltale Series - Shadows Edition, and many others, demonstrating the breadth of games made available through the promotion.
