Among the notable announcements was Among Us Story: On Guard, a narrative-driven adventure set to release on February 17, 2027, for mobile, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and Windows PC. Additionally, the hack-and-slash roguelike Astral Ascent received an update that introduces characters from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the winner of the 2025 Game of the Year award.
Fans of underwater exploration can look forward to Subnautica 2 crossing over with Dave the Diver in early 2027, bringing the survival sim's alien sea creatures into the latter's world. A playable demo for the co-op mouse game Hela: of Mice & Magic is now available on Steam, showcasing its solo and four-player cooperative mechanics.
Castle defense roguelike ReVamp, from the studio behind the Moonlighter series, is scheduled for a March 25, 2027 release on Windows PC, with its first playtest currently live. The spooky corridors of Escape the Backrooms will expand this year with new skins arriving in October and the "After Party Update" in December, adding a new liminal space.
Strange Scaffold, known for titles like Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! and Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator, announced Gods with Badges, a new tactics game exploring the dynamics of law enforcement. Furthermore, Matthew Mercer and Sam Riegel from Critical Role are lending their voices to the music RPG Rockbeasts, set to launch in January 2027 for multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
A new deckbuilder titled Lazare's Sacrifice, developed in partnership with Damien Monnier, designer of The Witcher 3's Gwent, is slated for spring 2027. The challenging action RPG and survival game Outward 2 will enter early access on February 8, 2027. The popular prison escape series will continue with The Escapists 3, announced for a 2027 release on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X, featuring a shift to a 3D world with chibi-style characters.
Other titles revealed include the ARPG Aftergods; the "Primal Dread" DLC for Brotato; co-op shooter Canyons; platformer Chained Together; survival horror Dandelion Void; drinking game Drunken Goddess Reflux; and thriller False Echo. Cozy co-op horror game Haunted Paws is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X, while Goblin Isle is offering its first playtest. Horror game Jiaohun is set in the Y2K era, and Kingdom Two Crowns will receive an Ancient Egypt-themed DLC. A creepy roguelike called Little Prince Tyger is available for playtest, alongside co-op survival horror Living Hell. Fans of point-and-click adventures can anticipate Machinarium 2, seventeen years after the original. The demo for Militsioner is playable, and a playtest for Daniel Mullins' new game, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, is live. Retro Soulslike Prison of Husks has a new demo and a January 27, 2027 release date. Horror delivery game Prospice: Anomalous Logistics and Risk of Rain 2 have received new content. RTS Stronghold 4 is launching December 7th with a demo available now, and FPS roguelike Sulfur is launching into 1.0 on October 28th, also heading to consoles. The Talos Principle 3 showed gameplay, while co-op survival adventure Too Deep to Quit and psychological horror TrainWatch are also on the way. Extraction RPG Vaultbreakers has released its first demo, and the newly announced roguelike Volatiles allows players to build levels while fighting enemies. Cozy platformer Waltz and Jam launches December 3rd with a demo, and pirate survival game Windrose will receive its "Ashlands" update this winter. Finally, co-op fantasy RPG Wyldheart has a demo available on Steam.
