Exodus Developer Reveals Reworked Male Protagonist Model Based on Player Feedback

Archetype Entertainment, a studio co-founded by former BioWare developers, has released updated visuals for the male player character in its upcoming sci-fi RPG, Exodus. This rework comes in response to player feedback, according to Archetype general manager Chad Robertson.

The studio shared a video showcasing the refined look for the protagonist, Jun Aslan. Previously, the character model featured a different facial structure and a five-o'clock shadow. Robertson stated that the team has been actively listening to community conversations and input regarding the male Jun character model, emphasizing that the feedback is taken seriously as development progresses.

While the updated female character model, referred to as "FemJun," has not yet been revealed, Archetype confirmed that its debut is forthcoming. The developers indicated they have "something special cooking" for its unveiling and believe it will be "worth the wait."

Exodus is slated for release on April 7, 2027. The game is currently available to wishlist on multiple digital storefronts, including the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
