Bethesda has officially endorsed three new mods for Fallout 4 as part of its ongoing Fallout Day events. This initiative, under the Verified Creations label, signifies Bethesda's official backing of modders as they develop new content for the 2015 role-playing game.
FEVer Dreams
The first mod, FEVer Dreams by Kinggath Creations, is available now. Described as an escape room-style dungeon, it immerses players in hallucinations and flashbacks, including interactions with their spouse. Notably, the mod features voice acting from Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney, the original voice actors for the female and male Sole Survivor in Fallout 4, respectively.
Command Override
Launching October 21, Command Override from Hobgoblin Studios allows players to control a robot remotely, experiencing the game through its perspective. This mod introduces a new robot hacking ability, a dungeon set in Robco headquarters, and includes a live-action trailer, a first for Verified Creators.
Fathomless
The third mod, Fathomless by Zone Zero Creations, is slated for release in 2027. This cosmic horror expansion is set deep in the Atlantic Ocean, following a pre-war expedition. Players will explore a mysterious deep-sea crater, a new underwater worldspace and interiors, a new story with voiced dialogue, and encounter over five unique enemy types.
These mod releases coincide with Bethesda's Fallout Day celebrations, which falls on October 23rd, the in-universe date of the Great War. Bethesda is also looking ahead to Fallout's 30th anniversary next year, with potential announcements regarding remasters of older titles, a possible Fallout 5, and a new Obsidian-developed spinoff. Development continues on Fallout 76 and Fallout Shelter, with a third season of the Fallout TV series also anticipated.
