A new Fallout 4 mod, "Under The Stars," has been released by the Commonwealth Story Expansion Project (CSEP), offering players a new quest centered around a deep underground facility discovered in the treacherous Glowing Sea region. This latest addition follows the CSEP's previous work, including the introduction of an entire town to Fallout 4 last month. The "Under The Stars" mod invites players to explore a sunken bunker, filled with secrets and potential horrors.

Players will need to don a hazmat suit to venture into this new dungeon. Inside, they can uncover voiced holotapes and solve puzzles that shed light on the bunker's past. The mod also includes new gear to aid players in their exploration of the unsettling location. Screenshots suggest the bunker contains evidence related to aliens and other unexplained phenomena, reminiscent of an Area 51-type hideout.

The CSEP has a history of developing popular Fallout 4 quest mods, with previous projects focusing on themes such as cults, underground wars, detective work, and Brotherhood of Steel storylines. While "Under The Stars" may not be as extensive as some of their prior releases, its developers' track record indicates a high-quality addition to the game.

This mod was created as part of the Fallout Flood, a community modding event with an "underground" theme. Other releases from this event include "Stranded - The Oasis," a mod featuring a dungeon with mutated rats called the S'Laven, a new robot enemy that can be worn as a hat, and a New Vegas mod exploring an abandoned NCR railway.

To install and play "Under The Stars," players will require the Automatron and Vault-Tec Workshop DLCs for Fallout 4. The mod can be found on Nexus Mods.
