Fallout 4 Surprise Releases 'FEVer Dreams' Mod Campaign

Bethesda has officially released "FEVer Dreams," a surprise new mod campaign for Fallout 4. The project brings back Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney, the original voice actors for the game's protagonists, and was developed in partnership with Bethesda Game Studios.

The adventure begins with the player trapped and seemingly afflicted with the Forced Evolutionary Virus (FEV), lacking weapons and facing escape room-style puzzles. While incorporating shooting mechanics, the mod emphasizes exploration and problem-solving, offering a deep dive into Fallout's lore surrounding bioweapons.

Developed by the modding group @kinggathcreates, FEVer Dreams is officially branded as "Presented by Bethesda Game Studios." The campaign features new characters and challenging choices, with one scenario involving a ghoul who suggests that only one of them can use a limited dose of a potential FEV cure.

The mod's trailer suggests a surreal journey that manipulates perception, set against a backdrop of familiar wasteland threats like Deathclaws and mini nukes. Players can choose one of the two protagonists, with the other spouse providing commentary throughout the experience.

FEVer Dreams is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Bethesda's Creation platform. To begin the quest, players need to locate a Gutsy robot in the Diamond City marketplace. This release offers fans a new experience while they await future Fallout titles.
