Fallout Day is being celebrated with several new real-world partnerships from Bethesda. The World of Fallout exhibit at the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas has been expanded, now featuring two new galleries that double its size. This expansion includes interactive installations, museum artifacts, and interpretive displays, alongside a collection of props, costumes, and memorabilia from the Fallout games and the Amazon TV series.
Globally, the Fallout Cafe is returning to Tower Records in Tokyo for its second year, offering themed food and exclusive merchandise. In Texas, the third annual Fallout Night with the Texas Stars will take place on October 24, providing attendees with a collectible Fallout bobblehead.
A significant collaboration with Jones Soda, dubbed Project T.W.I.S.T. (Taste-worthiness Initiative for Shelter Transition), is allowing fans to vote on the flavor for Nuka Twist, a beverage previously introduced in Fallout 76. This Nuka-Cola variant provides a temporary buff to a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat in the game, though it also comes with a minor radiation penalty. Voting is open on the Jones Soda website from October 21 to October 31.
These events follow Bethesda's recent reveal of three new mods for Fallout 4, with one released on October 20. Fallout Day, observed on October 23, commemorates the fictional date in the Fallout timeline when the bombs fell, initiating the Great War. Looking ahead, Fallout's 30th anniversary is approaching next year, hinting at potential future announcements from Bethesda, including possible remasters of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, a new Fallout spinoff, and Fallout 5. Development continues on Fallout 76 and Fallout Shelter, with a third season of the Fallout TV series also anticipated.
