Fallout Season 3 Filming Nears End, Walton Goggins Hints at Departure

Filming for the third season of Prime Video's Fallout series is nearing completion, with star Walton Goggins indicating that his work on the show may be finished. In a social media post, Jake Garber, head of the show's prosthetic makeup department, announced his wrap on season 3. Goggins echoed this sentiment, stating, "Just took it off for the last time," referring to The Ghoul's elaborate makeup and costume. He added, "Gonna miss you California… til the next time," fueling speculation about his future with the series.

Goggins had previously confirmed he began filming for season 3 in July. His cryptic comment leaves ambiguity as to whether his departure is specific to season 3 or signals a definitive end to his involvement in Fallout. Given The Ghoul's significant role in the series thus far, a continuation without the character seems unlikely.

Amazon MGM has not yet officially confirmed a fourth season. However, actor Aaron Moten, who portrays Maximus, previously discussed a potential five or six-season arc for the adaptation, suggesting a long-term vision for the show's development.
