The fan project, spearheaded by modder Arena7664, aims to bridge this narrative gap. The port includes both the main Union χ game and the Dark Road side-story, which chronicles the origins of Xehanort. While an offline version of Dark Road was made available during the game's active service, Union χ content is only accessible through watching its cutscenes within the newly released port. This is the first time since the mobile app's discontinuation that the game itself has been made playable, beyond simply watching its story segments.
