Final Fantasy 14's Fall Guys Crossover Returns This Week

Final Fantasy 14 is bringing back its popular collaboration with the party game Fall Guys for a limited engagement. The event, which first launched in 2023, allows players to experience Fall Guys-style obstacle course challenges within the Final Fantasy 14 world of Eorzea.

The crossover event is set to begin on October 7 at 1:00 a.m. PDT and will run until October 27 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. This marks the fifth time the event has been available to players. To participate, adventurers must accept the quest "Just Crowning Around" from NPC Lewena in The Gold Saucer. Players need to be at least level 15 and have completed the "It Could Happen to You" quest. Those who have participated in previous iterations of the event can resume playing immediately.

The collaboration features a mode called Blunderville, which includes a series of multiplayer elimination games that mirror the gameplay found in Fall Guys. These stages culminate in a single winner. Completing these games awards Manderville Gold Saucer Fame (MGF), which can be used to purchase various in-game prizes from the MGF Trader in Blunderville Square. Notable rewards include a pink bean minion, a set of Fall Guys-themed pajamas, and crowns.

Final Fantasy 14 has a history of hosting various collaborations with other media and games, including other Final Fantasy titles, NieR: Automata, and Monster Hunter. However, the Fall Guys crossover is noted for its particularly unique approach to integrating a different genre into the MMORPG.

The Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys collaboration offers unique in-game rewards.
