Xbox Game Pass is set to receive a significant second wave of titles for October 2026, headlined by the inclusion of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. This marks the first time the acclaimed RPG, which was ported to the console earlier this year, will be available on the subscription service.
Alongside the high-profile RPG, The Séance of Blake Manor will also join Game Pass. This detective game, released last October, is set in 1897 Ireland. Players are tasked with investigating the disappearance of a woman at a remote hotel. Differentiating itself from typical deduction-based visual novels, Blake Manor features full 3D environments and a ticking clock that advances with each action and line of questioning. The gameplay has been compared to Return of the Obra Dinn, with a visual style reminiscent of Blue Prince.
Other notable additions to Xbox Game Pass in wave two for October 2026 include:
- Dodo Duckie (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – October 22
- Scramble Knights Online (Game Preview) (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – October 26
- The Séance of Blake Manor (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – October 27
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – October 29
- Mouthwashing (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – October 29
- Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted (Cloud, Console, and PC) – October 29
- Terrible Lizards (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – October 29
- Pit of Goblin (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) – November 3
The arrival of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade serves a dual purpose for Xbox Game Pass. It concludes a year of Final Fantasy titles being added to the service, following the earlier inclusion of the Pixel Remasters. Furthermore, it offers subscribers a no-commitment way to experience the game before Revelation launches next spring. The game is considered one of the standout RPGs of the past decade, and many Xbox users may not have yet had the chance to play it.
Rounding out the month's offerings are titles such as Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Mouthwashing. Additionally, the Elder Scrolls Online season 2 update, Echoes of Skyrim, is set to arrive on October 21, introducing two new solo dungeons. In terms of departures, Grim Fandango Remastered and Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be removed from Game Pass on October 31, following Double Fine Productions' split with Microsoft earlier this year. No other major titles are scheduled to leave the service in the immediate future.
