Square Enix has revealed new details about Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, the concluding chapter of its Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy. A trailer debuted at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, offering an extended look at the challenging Weapon battles that players will face.
During the presentation, director Naoki Hamaguchi introduced the trailer, which prominently featured the iconic Ruby, Emerald, and Ultima Weapons. These powerful entities are set to present significant challenges to Cloud and his companions as the saga draws to a close.
The trailer showcased these encounters with impressive visuals, hinting at the scale and intensity of the boss fights. Final Fantasy VII: Revelation is slated for a Spring 2027 release and will be available simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
