Nintendo will host a dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave tomorrow, August 4. The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET and will feature approximately 20 minutes of new information about the game.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is slated for release on September 17 for the Switch 2. The game's narrative centers on four protagonists—Cai, Theodora, Leda, and Dietrich—who are competing in a martial tournament known as the Heroic Games. Each character has a personal motivation for winning the tournament, aiming to have their deepest wish granted by the world's sovereign.
As with previous entries in the series, Fortune's Weave will retain the series' signature turn-based strategy gameplay. It will also include the familiar free time structure, allowing players to engage with their units by recruiting, training, and building relationships. A trailer announcing the game's release date was previously released and can be viewed for a preview of the game.
