Fortnite is preparing to launch a second wave of cosmetic items inspired by the anime Bleach, continuing its collaboration with the popular series.
The crossover will introduce two new character skins: Yoruichi Shihōin and Kisuke Urahara. This follows the initial Bleach collaboration in December, which added Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Orihime Inoue to the game. Those original skins were available individually or as part of a bundle.
Epic Games teased the upcoming additions via its official German Fortnite account on social media, posting a short video that revealed the new characters and hinted at their release. The teaser indicated that the new Bleach cosmetics would be available starting August 8 in Germany. For players in the United States, the items are scheduled to appear in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
While the collaboration primarily focuses on cosmetic items, there is a possibility that the first wave of Bleach skins will also return to the Item Shop. This would offer players another chance to acquire the characters that were previously released. Previous anime crossovers in Fortnite have included extensive events with series like Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan.
