Fortnite's latest season, Treasure Hunters, has introduced a rare item that allows players to acquire any cosmetic from the Item Shop for free for a limited time. This new season, themed around pirates and treasure, coincides with the popular One Piece collaboration, which includes skins like Luffy, Nami, and Usopp.
The Pirate Shop Access Token
The Pirate Shop Access token is found within special Treasure-Hunt chests scattered across the Battle Royale island. If a player finds this token, they and their entire team gain access to every item in the Fortnite Item Shop for two weeks. This includes skins, emotes, and jam tracks. However, it does not apply to items already purchased or real-money purchases such as the Fortnite Crew subscription or special bundles. The token can be activated twice, with the first activation valid until December 15 and the second in 2027. Once an item is claimed using the token, it is permanently added to the player's locker.
Increasing Chances of Finding the Token
While the Pirate Shop Access token is rare, players can increase their chances of obtaining it. Playing in Squads can improve search efficiency due to the increased number of players looking for chests. Visiting named locations with a higher concentration of loot also raises the probability of finding Treasure-Hunt chests. Additionally, Treasure Hours, set to begin next Sunday, are rumored to boost the spawn rate of the Pirate Shop Access token.
Weekly Chest Contents
The contents of Treasure-Hunt chests change weekly. For the first week of the season, players have a chance to find the Solid Gold A$AP Rocky skin. In subsequent weeks, different rare items, such as the Solid Gold Lil Uzi Vert skin, may appear in these chests.
