Fortnite Reload has introduced a new Points of Interest (POI) called The Confidential, located within Springfield. This unmapped location is integral to the Confidential Contract quest line, which players must complete to unlock a Simpson-themed John Wick outfit.
The Confidential Hotel can be found in Springfield Town Square, situated in the center of the map. Specifically, it is located on the northeastern side of the POI, adjacent to the town hall.
Upon entering The Confidential, players will automatically holster their weapons, as it is designated a safe zone where player eliminations are discouraged. However, it is possible to re-equip weapons by switching back to them. To progress with the quest, players must then locate and eliminate a target within the hotel's grounds.
Eliminating another player inside The Confidential triggers the Excommunicado status. This status places a bounty on the player and reveals their location to others within the hotel, who are then notified of a reward for their elimination. To complete the contract, players must survive for 14 seconds after becoming Excommunicado.
Survival during this period can be aided by crouching to minimize visibility and sound, effectively blending in with the environment. The Excommunicado status also provides benefits such as infinite sprint and faster reload speeds, which can assist players in evading pursuers.
