Fortnite's Fortnitemares Event Adds Cosmetics Inspired by Horror Hit Obsession

Fortnite's annual Fortnitemares Halloween event is bringing a new wave of cosmetic items, including those inspired by the recent horror hit Obsession. The collaboration will add the character Nikki and other thematic elements to the game's item shop starting October 21.

The Obsession cosmetics are part of the second update for Fortnite's 2026 Halloween event, which began on October 1 and continues until the end of Chapter 7 Season 4 on November 1. This update introduces a variety of skins from popular horror franchises and internet phenomena.

The Obsession bundle will feature the Nikki skin, the One Wish Willow back bling, Nikki's Broken Bottle pickaxe, and a "No No No" emote. The Nikki skin includes an alternative "Splatter" style, which recreates the character's appearance after a key scene in the film where blood is depicted. The "No No No" emote is a direct reference to a widely memed scene from the movie.

Obsession, a low-budget independent horror film, achieved significant internet popularity and record-breaking box office success. The movie is currently available for streaming on Peacock and is scheduled for a Netflix release in November.
