Hot Toys, known for its detailed collectibles from various video game franchises, is venturing into the world of Fortnite with its first sixth-scale figure. The figure features the dimension-hopping character Jonesy, designed to closely resemble his in-game model. This release marks a significant entry for the manufacturer into the popular battle royale landscape, following previous figures based on titles like Batman: Arkham Knight and Marvel's Spider-Man.
The Hot Toys Jonesy figure aims to replicate Fortnite's unique art direction, which combines stylized realism with cartoonish proportions. To achieve this, the collectible incorporates soft silicone arms and a fabric tactical outfit. The attention to detail extends to the clothing, which includes a scarf, a vest with a harness, belts, camouflage pants with stitched patch details, and intricate accessories like a metal material necklace, armband, forearm gauntlet, a communication device, and boots with shin guards.
Accompanying the figure is an array of in-game gear. Players can expect to find accessories such as a pickaxe, a rocket launcher with a projectile, a tactical shotgun, and a flare gun. For thematic flair, the set also includes an Orange Flopper for a quick heal, a supply llama, and the victory crown, symbolizing a player's triumph as the last one standing.
This limited edition Jonesy figure is restricted to 3,000 units worldwide. While preorders have not yet opened, the figure is expected to retail for approximately $285, aligning with the standard pricing for Hot Toys collectibles, which can vary based on specific features and licensing. Updates will be provided once official preorder links become available.
Hot Toys has also been expanding its sixth-scale figure line for other live-service games. Last month, the company revealed its first figure for Marvel Rivals, showcasing the cryokinetic superhero Luna Snow. That figure is available for preorder at $280, with an expected release next year. Additionally, figures for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, featuring both Sam Porter Bridges and Higgs, were revealed last year and are available through retailers like Sideshow Collectibles.
