Fortnite has introduced new swimwear-themed skins for DC characters Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, but has restricted their use to game modes rated Teen (13+). This move accompanies Epic Games' "Hot Bat Summer" promotion, which also brings Batman gadgets, a Batmobile glider, and a Batman Sprite to the battle royale.

The item shop features new skins for Batman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, notable for their revealing designs. Fortnite has reportedly relaxed its cosmetic guidelines, permitting male skins to display nipples and some female skins to feature more cleavage and "jiggle physics." Poison Ivy's new summer attire is described as one of the game's most revealing skins to date.

Epic Games has previously implemented age restrictions for skins, though typically for those with horror elements like Venom or the Xenomorph. The restriction on the Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn swimwear skins primarily affects their availability in third-party creator-made modes with lower age ratings. The skins remain fully accessible in Fortnite's main battle royale modes and also have LEGO minifigure versions for use in LEGO-themed modes.

The update also includes skins for David Beckham and Matt Damon as Odysseus, with Addison Rae making a brief animated appearance in a new update trailer, potentially hinting at future collaborations for the Fortnite Festival mode.
