Fortnite is set to feature a One Piece-themed season, officially confirmed by Epic Games following weeks of speculation. The collaboration, dubbed "Treasure Hunters," will begin on November 1. Promotional materials have surfaced, offering players their first look at the character skins that will be available.
Initially, rumors suggested that the next Fortnite season would heavily feature the popular anime, but uncertainty persisted. This was fueled by posters seen in Madrid that hinted at generic anime-style skins rather than specific One Piece characters. However, Epic Games put these doubts to rest with a teaser of the iconic Going Merry ship appearing on the Battle Royale island.
Iconic Characters Arrive in Fortnite
The collaboration will bring several beloved characters into Fortnite. "Wanted" posters have appeared in London's Soho district, revealing that Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace from One Piece will be joining the game. Additionally, two original Fortnite characters, Jonesy and Hope, will receive anime-style reskins as part of this crossover.
These characters are expected to be featured in the season's Battle Pass, mirroring the structure of the previous season which focused on The Simpsons. That season included skins of Homer, Ned, and Marge Simpson, along with Simpsonized versions of Fortnite characters. With the current Chapter 7 Season 4 nearing its end, further details and official reveals of the One Piece skins are anticipated on Epic Games' social media channels.
