Fortnite is offering players a limited-time opportunity to step into the world of Toy Story through a new Creative Map inspired by Toy Story 5. This collaboration between Epic Games and Disney tasks players with finding and returning missing characters like Buzz Lightyear, Forky, Hamm, Jessie, Rex, and Woody, who have disappeared into other Fortnite islands after falling through a rift. The event is available from September 22nd to October 5th.
The Creative Map, titled "The Great Toy Rescue," can be accessed using the code 6059-3243-8283. Players must navigate different Fortnite islands to locate each toy and bring them back to Bonnie's room. Successfully collecting all the toys rewards players with a jetpack and abilities that unlock new areas and help complete the map's objectives.
To aid in the collection efforts, players can interact with an in-game character named Smarty Pants and enter specific codes to automatically unlock each toy. These codes are 7590 for Buzz Lightyear, 3098 for Forky, 6742 for Hamm, 1337 for Jessie, 1001 for Rex, and 2295 for Woody.
Beyond character retrieval, the map features several challenges. Players must hit 50 targets with the Flint-Knock Pistol, collect 30 Hi-Tech Buzz toys using the jetpack to reach hidden areas, and find all 10 memories to complete the Playtime Scrapbook. The map also includes numerous XP coins scattered throughout, allowing players to level up and earn Battle Pass rewards as they engage with the Toy Story-themed content.
