Forza Horizon 6 players participating in Series 2 of the Festival Playlist must now seek out a treasure chest hidden on a beach in the Ito region. This week's challenge contrasts with the previous week's focus on snowy terrain, instead directing players to the coastal areas of Japan.
The Treasure Hunt chest is located on the beach at the northeastern tip of the Ito region, situated beyond the coastal town of Ine. Players can identify the target area on the map by a white and blue sign. It is positioned as far northeast as travel is possible within the region and is notable for having a single billboard nearby, with no other major in-game events in the immediate vicinity.
To find the chest, players should first travel to the coastal town of Ine in northern Ito, which also serves as a location for the Moto Auto Zine story missions. From there, they need to follow the narrow road that branches northeast along the coastline, to the right of the harbor. The route leads directly onto the sand, and players must drive up to the northernmost point of the beach to find the Treasure Hunt chest. Crashing into the chest will complete the challenge.
Upon completion, players will receive three Festival Playlist points, 5,000 XP, and 100,000 credits. These points contribute towards unlocking rewards such as the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R and the 2017 Saleen S7 LM. Additionally, players have the opportunity to collect any remaining points to unlock the Series 2 milestone rewards, the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau and the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430, before the start of Series 3 next week.
