The Winter season of Series 2 in Forza Horizon 6 has introduced a new Festival Playlist challenge, the Sotoyama region Treasure Hunt. This event requires players to locate a small crate hidden within the snowy landscape of the Sotoyama region. The challenge is set against the backdrop of a fully snow-covered map, adding a layer of difficulty to the search.
Locating the Treasure Chest
The Sotoyama region Treasure Hunt chest can be found in the northern part of the map, specifically in the snowy hills northeast of the main Sotoyama area. It is situated near a small wooden hut and is close to the Alpine Heights danger sign and the Off Piste wristband event. Players are advised to equip snow tires for easier navigation through the terrain.
To complete the challenge, players need to drive up the snow-covered mountains in the north, locate the off-shooting road leading to the wooden hut, and then crash into the Treasure Hunt chest. Successfully smashing the chest will reward participants with three Festival Playlist points, 5,000 XP, and 100,000 credits. These points contribute towards earning the Series 2 rewards, which include the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau and the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430. Additionally, the Winter season offers the 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 and the 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning as car rewards.
