A permanent Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location, inspired by the popular horror franchise, is slated to open at the American Dream entertainment and retail center in New Jersey in 2027. The collaboration between Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon and American Dream was announced via a social media teaser.
The upcoming attraction is described as a "permanent immersive restaurant experience" designed to place guests directly into the world of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. Visitors can expect to find food options, arcade games, and live animatronic stage shows featuring Freddy and the Fazbear Band. Additional planned features include Foxy's Pirate Cove and "immersive multiplayer survival-horror experiences."
While the exact details of the collaboration were initially limited, a follow-up post on Facebook provided further clarification. The American Dream mall already hosts a variety of attractions, including dining, shopping, and a Nickelodeon theme park, making it a fitting venue for the Five Nights at Freddy's concept.
A teaser image released by ScottGames, seemingly linked to the American Dream announcement, featured a pizza with hidden text. Some fans and media outlets, including IGN, were able to discern the words "coming soon" within the image after adjusting its color and brightness settings.
The Five Nights at Freddy's franchise has expanded significantly since its inception in the 2010s. Its growth includes recent film adaptations and collaborations, such as Universal Pictures' Halloween Horror Nights in 2025 and a life-sized Freddy Fazbear prop released by Spirit Halloween.
