Game Freak, the studio behind the Pokémon series, has acknowledged player concerns regarding its recent action-RPG, Beast of Reincarnation. The game, which launched on August 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, has faced criticism for issues including performance problems, story pacing, and a subtitle text size that is both small and unadjustable. In response, Game Freak has announced on its X account that it is preparing a "series of continuous updates" to address player feedback.
The first patch is slated for release within the next week and will include several adjustments. Among the planned changes are camera adjustments and an increase in text size. The developer also intends to improve story pacing, with further adjustments planned for the future. Additionally, the patch will allow players to change the default graphical setting from Cinematic to Performance mode and will incorporate other general bug fixes.
Game Freak stated that the specifics of this patch are subject to change and encouraged players to continue submitting their feedback. The studio has provided a link for players to share their thoughts and suggestions directly.
