The Pokémon Company is continuing its 30th-anniversary celebrations with an extensive art book release from Game Freak. This new collection will feature artwork from the franchise's earliest titles, including Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green, all the way up to the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
The expansive art books will be divided into three volumes, totaling 1,500 pages. The collection is slated for release on December 18, 2026. Each volume will conclude with an interview with a member of the Game Freak team. The books will be sold individually rather than as a set, allowing fans to purchase specific eras that interest them.
These art books are the latest in a series of 30th-anniversary commemorative releases. Earlier this year, The Pokémon Company launched a special trading card game set and a Game Boy-themed music player. A premium character guide book was also released in August 2026 for $2,000. The company also previously unveiled a special 30th-anniversary logo that included all of the franchise's over 1,000 monsters.
