Game Freak has acknowledged player feedback regarding its new action role-playing game, Beast of Reincarnation, and has committed to releasing a series of updates to enhance the experience. The developer detailed upcoming improvements in a message posted on X, outlining changes intended to address criticisms that have surfaced since the game's launch.

The next patch, slated for release next week, will introduce several adjustments. Players can expect refinements to the game's camera system and an increase in text size for improved readability. To offer a smoother experience on consoles, Performance mode will be set as the default over Cinematic mode. The update will also include various bug fixes.

Furthermore, Game Freak intends to improve the pacing of Beast of Reincarnation's story. The upcoming patch will feature the first alteration in this area, with further adjustments anticipated as part of a longer-term project. The developer has also shared a link to a survey to actively gather more player feedback.

Beast of Reincarnation has received a mixed reception, reflected in a "Mixed" review rating on Steam. Critiques often point to a perceived lack of polish. In Eurogamer's review, Matt Wales awarded the game three stars, noting significant internal conflict. "If it wasn't already obvious," Wales wrote, "I have some very conflicting feelings about Beast of Reincarnation. There are moments it's glorious… But there are just as many moments it feels aggravating, unfinished, and, worse, dull."
