Xbox Game Pass is offering three games for free this weekend as part of its Free Play Days promotion. The titles include the latest installment in the professional baseball series, MLB The Show 26, the survival game The Alters, and the unique FPS Stuffed, where players assume the role of a teddy bear battling nightmares.

These games are available to play at no additional cost for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or Essential members from now until July 12. For those who enjoy their time with the free titles, discounted purchase options are available for some. MLB The Show 26 can be bought for $35, and The Alters is available for $17.50. Stuffed, however, remains at its regular price of $12.50 and is not part of the sale.

In addition to the Free Play Days event, Game Pass has seen other recent additions. Gears of War: Reloaded was added to the Game Pass Premium tier on July 9, joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The arcade-style corridor shooter Tamashika also arrived on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on the same date. Microsoft has been updating its Game Pass offerings throughout July, with a full list of new additions available for subscribers.

This news comes as Xbox navigates a challenging period, marked by recent layoffs, studio divestitures, and game cancellations. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has stated these changes are necessary due to the current state of the business, and she was recently appointed to a Federal Reserve task force addressing productivity and employment.
