Gaten Matarazzo, known for his role as Dustin Henderson in Netflix's 'Stranger Things,' has shared insights into his personal gaming history. Matarazzo revealed that during his childhood, games like Call of Duty and even certain Cartoon Network shows were off-limits, leading him to play video games in secret.
His gaming interests broadened significantly after joining the cast of 'Stranger Things.' Matarazzo has since explored titles such as The Legend of Zelda, Spider-Man, and Uncharted. He spoke about what he considers his "underrated first Zelda game" and also described what he believes to be "the best video game experience that I've ever had."
With the conclusion of 'Stranger Things' in December 2025, Matarazzo has moved on to new projects. His latest film, "Pizza Movie," directed by Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney of the YouTube sketch comedy duo BriTANick, is his first feature release since the show's finale. The film is currently available for streaming on Hulu and Disney Plus.
