The pricing for the Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition has drawn attention, with its $100 cost primarily granting five days of early access and a set of cosmetic items. This edition, which includes a "Bravo Squad Signature Weapon Pack" and five seasonal "customization packs," costs $30 more than the standard $70 edition. Early access for the Premium Edition is slated to begin on October 1.
The pricing model mirrors a trend seen in some contemporary games, where cosmetic items can command significant prices. However, the value of an additional $30 for a short period of early access, particularly when the game is expected to be available on Game Pass shortly thereafter, has become a point of discussion among players and observers.
