A detailed, full-scale replica of the iconic Lancer assault rifle, complete with its signature chainsaw bayonet, is now available for preorder. This officially licensed Gears of War Prototype Lancer Replica aims to capture the look of the weapon as it will appear in the upcoming prequel, Gears of War: E-Day.
The replica measures 36 inches long, 14 inches high, and 8 inches wide, and weighs 6 pounds. It is constructed from ABS and PVC materials and boasts 1:1 full-scale authenticity, precision-molded from in-game assets. A custom, hand-painted "battle-worn" E-Day finish is applied to simulate the immediate chaos of the initial Locust attack on the planet Sera. The replica also includes a minimalist ABS display stand and an informational placard.
The Lancer, a staple of the Gears of War franchise since its inception in 2006, is characterized by its integrated chainsaw bayonet. The E-Day iteration represents a prototype version of the weapon seen in later installments. This is not the first Lancer replica to be produced, but this specific model is designed to match the weapons featured in Gears of War: E-Day.
