HoYoverse has announced that the Genshin Impact 7.0 livestream, titled 'Everwinter Without Mercy,' will premiere on Friday, July 31st, 2026. The Special Program will offer a comprehensive look at the upcoming version, including new details about the Snezhnaya region, characters, and story elements.
The livestream is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM BST (British Summer Time) in the UK, which corresponds to 7:00 AM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) and 4:00 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) on the US West Coast. In Central Europe, the broadcast will start at 1:00 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time).
Viewers can tune in via the official Genshin Impact Twitch and YouTube channels. The channels will open a waiting room 15 minutes prior to the official start time, with 'special content' planned for release during this period. Travelers are advised to join early to avoid missing any announcements.
While many details remain under wraps, early drip marketing has revealed two new playable characters expected to arrive in Version 7.0. Odette, a five-star Cryo sword-user, and Alyosha, a four-star Electro polearm-wielder, have been shown. These characters are anticipated to feature on limited-time Banners during the version. However, HoYoverse has stressed that these details are not official and will be confirmed during the livestream.
The announcement comes as Version 6.7 Phase 2 is ongoing, featuring reruns of five-star character Columbina and Raiden Shogun. Players can use in-game codes to acquire Primogems for wishes and consult tier lists to aid in their character acquisition strategies. Adventure Rank progression remains crucial for accessing various in-game events.
