Genshin Impact's version 7.0 introduced the limited-time 5-star Cryo sword user, Odette, who will be available again in future updates. Understanding her kit and Constellations is key to mastering her gameplay.

Odette's Core Abilities

Odette is a Cryo character wielding a sword. Her abilities revolve around Cryo damage and reaction enhancement. At base level, her kit includes several passive talents designed to augment her combat effectiveness.

Passive Talent 'Dance of Aurore' activates when Odette is within a Polestar Field or enters a Radiance: Stellar Swirl state for eight seconds after a party member triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction. This talent modifies nearby reactions, converting Stellar Swirl to Stellar-Conduct or Cryo Swirl to Stellar Swirl, and increasing the base damage of these reactions by 0.7% for every 100 points of Odette's attack, up to a maximum of 14%.

'Spring Rite of the Chosen One' grants Odette four stacks of Marvelous Splendor when she summons her Solo Dance Double. 'Pathetique of Pateticheskaya' increases Stellar Glimmer damage by 1.5% of original damage for every 100 attack points Odette has over 1,000, allowing for up to 30% additional damage. Lastly, 'Echo of Winter Daydreams' reveals the locations of Snezhnaya's Local Specialties on the mini-map.

Her Normal Attack, 'Snow Swan Variation,' allows for up to five consecutive sword strikes or a stamina-consuming forward slash when held. Her Plunging Attack deals AoE damage upon impact.

Elemental Skills and Burst

Odette's Elemental Skill, 'Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers,' deals AoE Cryo damage and summons her Solo Dance Double. If the double is already active, its duration is reset. The double periodically attacks opponents with AoE Cryo damage. For six seconds after using the Elemental Skill, it transforms into 'Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling,' which deals continuous AoE Cryo damage. Upon the duet's conclusion, Odette deals a final instance of AoE Cryo damage classified as Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl damage.

Her Elemental Burst, 'Presto: Bluebird Finale,' unleashes multiple instances of AoE Cryo damage and summons the Solo Dance Double. This also grants Odette 'Snow Swan's Dream,' boosting her Stellar Glimmer reaction damage. Similar to her Elemental Skill, her Burst replaces her Elemental Skill with 'Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling' after six seconds, re-summoning the Solo Dance Double if it was previously deployed.

Constellation Enhancements

Odette's Constellations, unlocked by obtaining duplicates, further enhance her abilities.

C1, 'On This Danceless Morn, She Gazes at Her Reflection,' adds an extra Cryo AoE damage instance at the end of 'Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling,' with damage multipliers based on ATK. It also enhances 'Spring Rite of the Chosen One,' increasing Marvelous Splendor stacks gained and accelerating their loss when Odette is off-field.

C2, 'I Must See the Snow Swan's Unseen Dream for Myself, She Thought,' boosts Odette's attack by 7% for each Marvelous Splendor stack and lowers nearby opponents' Elemental Resistance by 20% if Odette is in the Radiance: Stellar Glimmer state with a Solo Dance Double active.

C3, 'I'll Chase the Shouting Wind Along, Climbing Alone As I Go,' increases the Elemental Skill level by three.

C4, 'Up, Up the Long, Delirious, Burning Blue,' enhances the Elemental Burst by increasing Stellar Glimmer reaction damage dealt by other party members by 50% of Snow Swan Dream's effects. It also triggers coordinated Cryo AoE attacks from Odette when a party member deals Stellar Glimmer reaction damage.

C5, 'Oh! I Have Slipped the Surly Bonds of Earth,' increases the Elemental Burst level by three.

Finally, C6, 'Put Out My Hand, and Touched the Face of the Divine,' enhances 'Spring Rite of the Chosen One' so that Odette's Marvelous Splendor stacks no longer decrease when all party members are affected. It also boosts Stellar Glimmer reaction damage for affected characters by 25%, with an additional 20% increase for Odette's own Stellar Glimmer damage.
