Leaked beta information for Genshin Impact version 7.0 suggests the addition of two new playable characters: Odette, a 5-star Cryo sword user, and Alyosha, a 4-star Electro polearm user. While these details are based on pre-release data and subject to change, they offer an early look at the characters' kits, required materials for progression, and potential Constellation effects.
Odette is expected to debut on a boosted banner during version 7.0 and will eventually be added to the standard banner rotation. Her kit revolves around Cryo abilities, with her passive talents influencing reaction damage and providing utility. Passive one, 'Dance of Aurore,' enhances Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl reactions based on her attack stat. 'Spring Rite of the Chosen One' grants stacks of Marvelous Splendor when her Solo Dance Double is summoned, while 'Pathetique of Pateticheskaya' further boosts Stellar Glimmer damage based on her attack. Notably, her fourth passive, 'Echo of Winter Daydreams,' will display Snezhnaya's local specialties on the mini-map.
Odette's Normal Attack, 'Snow Swan Variation,' allows for up to five consecutive strikes or a stamina-consuming charged slash. Her Elemental Skill, 'Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers,' deals AOE Cryo damage and summons a Solo Dance Double that periodically attacks. This skill can transition into 'Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling' for a six-second duration, dealing continuous AOE Cryo damage and concluding with an additional instance of damage considered Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl. Her Elemental Burst, 'Presto: Bluebird Finale,' also deals AOE Cryo damage, summons the Solo Dance Double, and grants 'Snow Swan's Dream,' increasing Stellar Glimmer reaction damage. Similar to her skill, the burst also transitions her Elemental Skill into 'Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling' after six seconds.
To ascend Odette and level her talents, players will need to farm specific materials. Ascension will require Shivada Jade slivers, fragments, chunks, and gemstones, alongside Frostfairy Flower and Unscorched Blossom Branch. Talent leveling necessitates Ethereal materials, specifically Ethereal Glimmershards, Ethereal Crystals, Ethereal Crystalscale Stones, and Ethereal Crystalscale Stones, in addition to Charity-themed materials such as Teachings, Guides, Philosophies of Charity, and Twisted Withered Branches. A Crown of Insight is also needed to max out each talent.
Odette's Constellations offer significant enhancements. C1 boosts the damage of her special Elemental Skill aftermath and enhances 'Spring Rite of the Chosen One.' C2 increases her attack based on Marvelous Splendor stacks and can reduce enemy Elemental Resistance. C3 and C5 increase her Elemental Skill and Burst levels, respectively. C4 enhances Stellar Glimmer reaction damage dealt by party members and adds a coordinated attack from Odette when Stellar Glimmer reactions occur. C6 further boosts Stellar Glimmer reaction damage for both Odette and her party, and prevents her Marvelous Splendor stacks from decreasing under specific conditions.
Alyosha, a 4-star Electro polearm user, is also slated for version 7.0. He will initially appear on a boosted banner alongside a 5-star character before eventually being added to the standard banner. His kit focuses on Electro damage and support. His passive 'Into the Fray' grants the Hunter's Precision effect, increasing Stellar-Conduct damage for the party when Hunter's Mark is active. 'Awakened by the Baying Hounds' allows his companion, Tugarin, to restore HP to nearby allies. 'Suffer the Winter Wheat Will' increases his Elemental Skill and Burst damage based on his Energy Recharge, and 'Treetop Watch' reveals nearby Snezhnaya-exclusive resources.
Alyosha's Normal Attack, 'Skirmishing Spear,' can apply Hunter's Mark on the final hit of a four-hit combo. His Elemental Skill, 'Thunderbolt Strike,' offers both a quick AOE Electro damage attack and a charged aiming mode that enhances his interruption resistance. Both variants apply Hunter's Mark. His Elemental Burst, 'Hunter's Advance,' summons Tugarin and creates a Fulgurite Hunting Field that taunts opponents and deals periodic AOE Electro damage. Tugarin also attacks opponents marked with Hunter's Mark.
To level up Alyosha, players will need to gather Vajrada Amethyst slivers, fragments, chunks, and gemstones, along with Flockingweed and Severed Tails of the Sky-Roamer for ascension. Talent materials include Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Fortitude, alongside Chimeric materials such as Chimeric Cores, Symbiotic Chimeric Nuclei, Genesis Chimeric Nexuses, and Elixirs of the Heretic. A Crown of Insight is also required for each maxed talent.
Alyosha's Constellations enhance his utility and damage. C1 provides Elemental Energy regeneration for nearby party members triggering Electro reactions. C2 extends his Elemental Burst duration and ensures Tugarin applies Hunter's Mark on attacks. C3 and C5 increase his Elemental Skill and Burst levels. C4 provides additional HP restoration to the party member with the lowest HP when Tugarin attacks. C6 allows Hunter's Precision to stack up to two times, increasing Elemental Mastery for affected characters when max stacks are reached.
