Sucker Punch Productions is set to release Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition on October 1, coinciding with the game's one-year anniversary. This comprehensive package will include a new narrative expansion titled Echoes of Sekigahara, a roguelike mode, and all previously released Digital Deluxe Edition content.

Echoes of Sekigahara will expand the game's story with a dual timeline. Players will experience new events in the present day, following protagonist Atsu and a new character, Nagato, into a valley formerly used by The Snake and his followers. These present-day segments will be interwoven with flashbacks to Atsu's time during the Battle of Sekigahara, a pivotal event that shaped her quest for vengeance. The expansion will introduce new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and cosmetic dyes.

The roguelike mode, named Most Wanted, will task players with accepting bounties to embark on runs. Progressing through these runs will unlock perks and additional playable characters, each specializing in a particular weapon type. Atsu will wield dual katanas, Oyuki will use the kusarigama, and Nagato will fight with the yari.

The Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition will be available for $69.99. It includes the base game, the new expansion and roguelike mode, all content from the Digital Deluxe Edition, and the Charm of Hokkyokusei. Purchasers who buy the Complete Edition by September 30 will receive the Sakai Armor, an outfit inspired by Jin's armor from Ghost of Tsushima. Players who purchase the Complete Edition before October 1 will gain immediate access to the base game and the co-op Legends mode, with the new expansion and roguelike mode unlocking on launch day. For existing owners of the base game, a Complete Edition Upgrade will be offered for $14.99, granting access to Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted.

Beyond the paid content, Sucker Punch will also release a patch for the base game on October 1 that includes a new Beauty of Yotei mode, which cycles through scenic environmental shots. This update will also allow players to retain the appearance of one armor set while utilizing the stats of another, and introduces a high contrast accessibility option. Further details about the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion and the Most Wanted roguelike mode are expected to be revealed in the lead-up to the Complete Edition's launch.
