San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will host a panel dedicated to the highly anticipated God of War Laufey, featuring insights from both the game's development team and its voice cast. The panel is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 24, at 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET, which translates to 1:30 a.m. UK time on July 25.

Attendees can expect God of War Laufey game director Ariel Lawrence and Santa Monica Studio head of creative Cory Barlog to lead discussions. They will be joined by cast members including Deborah Ann Woll, who voices Laufey, Chris Judge as Kratos, Jack Quaid as Phranque, and Perlina Lau as Rue. The panelists are set to reveal new details about the game's heroes, offering a glimpse into the development process and the performance capture techniques used to bring the characters to life.

Prior to the panel, IGN has made available extensive coverage of God of War Laufey, including discussions with Lawrence and Barlog regarding the decision to focus on Faye as the main character for this installment, rather than Kratos. An explainer detailing Faye's story has also been released for those seeking a refresher.

IGN will provide live coverage from San Diego throughout Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25. Their broadcast, running from 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET each day, will feature interviews, exclusive reveals, and live reporting from major panels and announcements at SDCC, streamed across IGN platforms.
