Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 Among Games Leaving PlayStation Plus Catalog

Several prominent titles, including Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, are set to be removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog next month. These games will become inaccessible to subscribers of the Extra and Premium tiers starting November 17.

The full list of games departing the service includes:

  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
  • Football Manager 2026 (PS5)
  • Grand Theft Auto V (PS4, PS5)
  • The Talos Principle 2 (PS5)
  • Cricket 24 (PS4, PS5)
  • Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS4, PS5)
  • Hotshot Racing (PS4)
  • Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (PS4)
  • Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair (PS4)
  • Rapala Fishing Pro Series (PS4)
  • Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (PS4)

The removal of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 comes just days before the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI. Players looking to revisit these open-world titles or experience them for the first time as a prelude to Rockstar's next release have a limited window to do so. The Talos Principle 2, a first-person puzzle game, is also highlighted as a title worth playing before its removal.

After November 17, these games will no longer be playable through the PlayStation Plus subscription, even if they have been downloaded. Subscribers wishing to retain access will need to purchase them separately. PlayStation recently added new titles to its catalog, including Mafia: The Old Country and Horizon Forbidden West, to complement the existing library.
