Grand Theft Auto 5 players can now add a surprising flourish to their characters' movements thanks to a new mod that enables backflips. The "Back Flip Mod" offers a simple, single-player function to perform backflips with the tap of a key.
Developed for the PC version of the game, the mod allows characters to execute backflips in place. According to the mod's description, there's a chance the animation might fail, resulting in the character ragdolling. However, early testing suggests that failures often occur at the initiation of the move, causing the character to simply collapse.
The mod is available for download on gta5-mods.com. The author chose the 'Page Down' key for activation, noting its relative freedom from other mod assignments on the keyboard.
This mod adds a layer of acrobatic potential to the characters of Los Santos, who are otherwise described as moving with a notable lack of grace. The addition allows for more dynamic or perhaps simply more comical character interactions within the game's sandbox environment.
