Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 are set to begin on June 25th, with early physical editions shipping five days ahead of the game's November 19th release date. Physical copies will not include a disc but rather a download code, a measure intended to allow players to pre-download the game ahead of launch. Digital pre-orders will also grant access to pre-downloads starting November 12th.
Rockstar is offering two primary versions of the game: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition. The latter promises a suite of exclusive bonuses, including premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel that are woven into the narrative of protagonists Jason and Lucia. An Ultimate Edition upgrade will be available for separate purchase.
Players who pre-order the game or purchase it before November 20th will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. This collection includes items inspired by the original Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, featuring a classic two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and a corresponding Shore Court Garage, alongside decadent outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and a weapon pattern echoing the era's aesthetic.
Digital pre-order customers will also gain a free month of the GTA+ subscription service. However, it has been clarified that Grand Theft Auto Online will not be immediately available at launch for Grand Theft Auto 6, with the game initially focusing on a single-player experience.
The Ultimate Edition's exclusive content includes several unique vehicles such as the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and the '95 Grotti Cheetah, along with specialized garages and customization options. Bonuses also extend to a collection of classic cars for restoration, a Shitzu Squalo boat equipped with a weapon locker, and exclusive weapon variants like the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver. The Ultimate Edition also provides access to exclusive in-game shops, including Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's for vehicle modification, Stock 305 for unique streetwear, and Sara's Unisex Salon for character customization. Additionally, it offers access to the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store and a curated selection of tattoos from Electric Fang Tattoo. Some of these shops and items are explicitly noted as being accessible only with the Ultimate Edition.
Upon release, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be available in Standard and Ultimate editions, with early purchasers and pre-order customers set to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack as a bonus.
