Grand Theft Auto 6 is enlisting the talents of French electronic music duo Justice to create its original score. The confirmation arrives alongside a new trailer that sets the game's release date for November 19. Justice, comprised of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, are renowned for their influential blend of rock and disco-infused electronic music, with notable albums including "Cross" (2007), "Audio, Video, Disco" (2011), "Woman" (2016), and their recent 2024 release, "Hyperdrama."
Justice's involvement extends beyond the score; a new single from the duo, titled "Flower in a Hurricane," will be featured on "Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album." This track also boasts collaborations with an eclectic group of artists, including Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The duo has garnered multiple Grammy nominations and numerous awards throughout their career.
Players will experience Justice's original music within the game's world, potentially finding its place in the "absurdly detailed night clubs" mentioned by Rockstar. As with previous entries in the Grand Theft Auto series, the game will also feature a diverse array of in-game radio stations and podcasts. These stations will cover a wide spectrum of musical genres, from outlaw country rock to reggae, representing what Rockstar calls "the next evolution of in-game radio, and more." Players will have the ability to listen to these stations while driving or on foot.
Rockstar also provided further details on the official game soundtrack, "Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album," which comprises 34 songs specifically composed for the game. This collection includes new music from established artists such as Keith Richards and Travis Scott. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. A PC version has not yet been announced.
