The Grand Theft Auto community has demonstrated its generosity, raising more than $50,000 for Jerry, a 25-year-old fan in critical need of a lung transplant. Jerry, who uses the TikTok username Void Only, has been vocal about his declining health and his desire to survive long enough to play the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.

Jerry revealed his condition in a video noting, "I'm at the end of my ropes. My lungs can't do it no more." He explained that his interstitial lung disease has progressed to a point where surgery involves detaching his lungs from his chest wall, a complex and dangerous procedure. Despite the risks, he expressed hope for recovery, stating, "They believe I will make it out the other side – I have hope I will."

His mother, Paris Fort, established a GoFundMe page to support his medical needs. The initial fundraising goal was $15,000 to help Jerry and his family manage the costs associated with the transplant and recovery. Following his heartfelt video, which gained significant traction online, the community responded with overwhelming support.

Donations quickly surpassed the initial goal, reaching over $53,000 as of the latest reports. Many comments expressed solidarity, with users offering encouragement and pledging to support Jerry, including promises to buy him Grand Theft Auto 6 once he recovers. In a tearful video thanking the community, Jerry vowed to stream Grand Theft Auto 6 upon its release, making it a shared goal with his supporters.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently slated for release on November 19, 2026. Further details about the game are expected to be revealed soon. Jerry's GoFundMe continues to accept donations, with the amount raised steadily increasing.
