Modders are actively exploring these files, uncovering cut dialogue, unfinished missions, development tools, and assets intended for Rockstar's planned single-player expansions.
Among the most significant discoveries is an outline of a planned Liberty City expansion for GTA 5. Modder TJGM has pieced together the map's potential layout using shoreline data and associated audio zones found within the files. This reconstructed map suggests a considerably larger version of Liberty City than what was featured in GTA 4, indicating the ambitious scope of Rockstar's original plans. The presence of map data and audio zones implies that development on this expansion may have progressed further than previously understood. While the existence of Liberty City content was hinted at in the 2023 leak, the current data offers a clearer perspective on its intended scale.
The leak also provides more information on the "Agent Trevor" DLC, a canceled single-player project that would have cast GTA 5's Trevor as a secret agent. This expansion was reportedly scrapped due to a growing focus on Grand Theft Auto Online. Interior screenshots, including one of a large mansion, have surfaced, along with mission names, descriptions, and details about music intended for the DLC.
