Grand Theft Auto VI Confirms November 19 Release Date in New Trailer

Rockstar Games has released the official launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, offering a glimpse into the criminal underworld of Vice City, USA, and confirming a release date of November 19. The trailer introduces the game's protagonists, Jason and Lucia, whose story is set against the backdrop of Leonida and a conspiracy that forces them to rely on each other.

The trailer showcases gameplay footage captured entirely on the PlayStation 5. It highlights the game's setting in Leonida, a state encompassing Vice City, and hints at a narrative centered on a "criminal conspiracy stretching across the state." The duo's journey is described as one where "the deck is stacked against them" and a "score goes wrong," pushing them "to the darkest side of the sunniest place in America."

Accompanying the trailer's release is news about the game's soundtrack. An original score by electronic duo Justice, known for their work on Grand Theft Auto VI, is featured. A new standalone Justice single, "Flower in a Hurricane" featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, is also part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. The official soundtrack is available for pre-save on major music streaming services and for pre-order on vinyl and CD.
